Pubic hair. An interesting subject. Well women’s pubic hair more precisely.

When I first started ‘modelling’ back in the 1980’s (Yes, I am that old) everyone was hairy ‘down below’. Only the most brazen prostitute would shave.

With the rise of ‘porn mags’ in the 70’s all women were bushy, but with the arrival of more enlightened times in the 80’s and Mary Whitehouse was put out to grass in the bottom pasture shaving became more popular as magazines were starting to ‘go pink’ and show more of a woman’s anatomy ‘down below’. If a woman was shaved this became easier to observe and before you know it every man was asking their wives/girlfriend(s)/sisters (ok, maybe not that one) to shave their pubic area.

This phenomenon has become so widespread and common that the naughty thing to do these days is to be hairy. As our North American friends would say - go figure.

I was going to do a poll and ask your opinion but thought that was a little tacky so decided not to bother.

Personally I was reticent to shave when mr44g (he’s the same as you lot) finally persuaded me to shave in the 1980’s. I have a film of mr44g shaving me somewhere if you want to see it just ask and I will see if I can find it.

So now a days I stay trimmed but not smooth and not hairy. I get asked to be smooth and asked to ‘grow out my bush’ so that’s my best compromise.
