Being recognized

Being recognized is a subject which comes up on every amateur/adult/nude/porn site I have seen. I want to share my experience and thoughts on the subject.
Some people are afraid of it and don't show their face or distinguishing parts of their body, which in my opinion is understandable. Some people want to be recognized and exposed. Some, like myself just enjoy posting and perving, letting it all hang out, leaving nothing to the imagination. I wouldn't mind being recognized, and especially by certain people. I have been posting on various sites for over 12 years now, and in all, my profiles have been viewed over a half a million times. That being said, I have only been recognized by one person, someone very close to me, who always knew I was a perv. Also, my pics and vids have been stolen by others, some posting them and claiming to be me, at least one on this site. Some have been considerate enough to ask me if they could re-post my pics/vids, I usually give permission and ask that they do not claim to be me, and don't misrepresent my sexuality.
I must say I am flattered and surprised that anyone would be interested in a fat old man naked and playing with his cock, but love the positive feedback.
One other thing I would like to add, if you think posting some kind of disclaimer on your profile will protect you, you are mistaken. Also, if you think anything is secure on the internet, you are mistaken.
I would love to hear other members thoughts and experiences on the subject.

The content available on xHamster may contain pornographic materials.

xHamster is strictly limited to those over 18 or of legal age in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.

This means that all access to the site can be blocked by simple parental control tools. It is important that responsible parents and guardians take the necessary steps to prevent minors from accessing unsuitable content online, especially age-restricted content.
