Xhamster content stall explanation
TLDR: Xhamster has a long history of blocking stuff unnecessarily with little explanation, while also refusing to remove stolen content when it's blatantly obvious that the uploader is not me. This double standard prompted me to leave the site for years. I came back after they finally executed a mass removal of a list I gave them, without making me fill out a form for each individual one, like they used to try and do. BUT they just blocked a trailer made by their own affiliate that I approved the creation of. That's what this post is about. That, and I can't fucking type in my own comment wall, because their recpatcha service mysteriously started stopping me without actually giving me a captcha, when I started trying to post this:
Okay, so xhamster allowed the new trailer faphouse submitted to be uploaded after they blocked the first one. But Still: Xhamsters support, I'm keeping all your emails on block. Nothing pi ss es me off more than waking up in the morning, to see an email citing "removal of content" due to "some rule violation" that is not specified and for which a time stamp is not provided, on a video MADE BY YOUR OWN AFFI LIATE using source footage I already live streamed to multiple adults sites, one of them also being "xhamster live". I WANT you to block my sh it if I actually break rules (Like, what if I pushed my plug and my ass was di rt y slightly? What if I forgot to remove all of the voice of someone in an exclusive? None of this stuff would be purposeful). I'm also open, to curating stuff. Hypothetical example: You're trying to comply with the UK's stupid laws that I can't let people call me "step mo m m y". I should have the UK blocked as a region everywhere, but if you wanted to make a rule against that, I am open to it TO AN EXTENT (I'm not going to go full vanilla in this political porn battle that's plaguing our industry, I'd rather get h i t in the face with a stick and thrown in a concrete and metal cage). However, just blocking sh it, citing a list of rules and saying "you probably broke one of these rules" and outright deleting my work and time, is not fucking acceptable, and it's something I've seen you guys do a shitload of times over the most stupid sh it. You need to communicate why you are blocking something provide the time stamp for when it occurs, and request an edit and reupload into the same form that I already filled the video meta data out on, so I don't have to waste my time doing it all again, doing what you do and deleting my fucking work over nothing is just not cool. You make uploading to you difficult, unprofitable, and infuriating (Unless it's a random person uploading my sh it with no ID, as has happened multiple times and which I have been stonewalled on removing before, nice double standard). So you're staying on block. I might get less pi ss ed in a month or two and get back to my upload cascade, but I swear to god, next time you block your own sh it from your own affiliate, I'm going to stop for good.
