Weekend in Weymouth
Susan (who I call grandma) and I took advantage of the lovely October weather in UK went away for a weekend in Weymouth, We had planned on a Travelodge but instead found a lovely little hotel near the front. Quite reasonable, according to grandma, because most hotel owners hadn't planned for such a warm October weekend. Spent a lovely Saturday around the shops, grandma went into M&S, her favorite shop and promised she had bought some thing nice to wear later. I can only say I wasn't dissapointed that evening.
On the Sunday we went to the beach. Couldn't believe we were in our swimwear in October. Some of the older ladies down there were looking fantastic I must say;. Grandma was of course the best and she didn't go un-noticed by guys of all ages I am pleased to say. Had a fellow name of Grant in his 50's who came over and was chatting her up, I think he got a bit dissapointed when he discovered I was more than her grandson. Anyway we gave him our email and links to this site. Sunday evening a lovely dinner and an evening with grandma to admire some more of her M&S purchases .
Back home today Monday and back to work tomorrow.
